Corey Symon

Corey Symon - school student with a University title!

Corey (Year 13) had a very busy school holidays with Fencing. He started off with the New Zealand University Fencing Championships – which courtesy of King’s doing the Mathematics paper through Canterbury University, he qualified for. He had a great tournament, and now holds the New Zealand University Cup for Men’s Foil, and the New Zealand University Cup for Men’s Sabre!

The for the first time, King’s High sent Lion’s Water Polo Team to Rotorua for the Div. 2 Secondary Schools Nationals. King’s were the only South Island team competing so all of the teams were a bit of an unknown to us.
