On Friday we held the first of three Academic Assemblies celebrating those students who gained Scholarship and Level 2 Endorsed with Excellence in 2017.

The King’s High School Board of Trustees have been working extensively to create a draft Strategic Plan for the 2018-2020 timeframe. We have arrived at the point where we are ready for community consultation on the proposed strategic objectives and goals for the next planning cycle.

2018 sees an increase in numbers in our International Department. We have a larger intake from Germany than we have had for quite a few years, with nine students joining us. Also we have three students from Vietnam enrolled this year, which is great to see. It’s great to see a large group of returning students from 2017 too.

Ethan, Tyler, Yaqoob, Jayden and Patrick of 9Sr show their pencil drawings of their compositional designs including their initials in 3D form and background of their choice. This was their first introductory activity in Art this term.

Aslan Goodwin and Avi Spiegel used the magic of Chemistry to create some effects with 'fake blood’. No students were harmed in the process!!
