Celebrating our alumni reminds us of where we have come from and inspires the young men currently studying at King's to take every opportunity and to embrace all that life has to offer.

Friday lunchtime saw the large Gym become a temporary Barber Shop as 10 students and Mr Reddiex took part in Shave for a Cure.

Jack Oaten (Year 13) and Beckham Wheeler-Greenall (Year 11) came home triumphant earlier in the week having won the National Indoor Bowls Doubles Title.

In the words of LIYSF’s Director, Richard Myhill, “LIYSF may hold science in its name, but it holds people in its heart”. Truly, it was not the amazing lectures, nor the ‘food’, nor even the summer sun that made the forum, but rather the people.

The King's High School Theatre Sports team came 2nd in the Dunedin competition last Sunday.

This is the most significant annual show of student artwork and was held at the Dunedin School of Art recently. Congratulations to Liam Craig who won the King's Excellence Award for his series of photographs.

Year 13 Geographers travelled to Queenstown last week to explore the process of Tourism Development in the resort.
