I am delighted to welcome you all to 2019 and the King’s adventure that you and your son(s) will embark upon this year. Having spent the last couple of weeks in preparation mode it has been great to reconnect with our young men and feel the surge of vibrancy and energy that has accompanied their return.

Welcome to King's!

On Tuesday we welcomed our Year 9 students and their Family/whanau to King's with a powhiri. Mr Reddiex addressed the group and members of He Waka Kōtuia welcomed the audience with a Haka as they entered the PAC.

Day one, 2019

Day one was filled with information such as timetables, group rooms, liaison classes.....the list was endless. Luckily the Student Leadership Team were on hand to feed the boys' brains and stomachs at lunchtime.

Are you interested in being on the Board of Trustees?

The 2019 School Board of Trustee Elections are being held in June. The NZ School Trustees Association (NZSTA) is working very hard to encourage parent and whanau participation on school boards in order to help shape and support the education of their children. The Korari Programme is for anyone interested in finding out about standing for the school board elections and having a say in the education of their children.
