King's good showing at Cross Country Race

It was great to get the Cross Country underway with the Logan Park Road Race on Tuesday. 

Well done to all of those that took part. In the junior race over 2.5km, Tom Weatherall ran a great race, lead from the start and came in first place with Cooper Maclean coming in third. 

Team Co-Captain Rocky Allan was the best senior runner placing fourth over the 5km course with Hugh Jack at fifth and Year 11, Dan Kelleher at seventh. It was great to welcome Year 9 students Bodhi Clark, Jake Lawrence and Jackson Phillips, and Year 13, Riley Thompson who were on debut. 

We are looking forward to the legendary Caversham Relays next week.
