The School Council was pleased to be able to work with the Child Cancer Foundation and its annual Street Appeal on Friday 16 March.

Aaron is one for 24 students who will attend the Biology Olympiad Training Camp in Auckland. We wish him all the best as he strives for success in his chosen field which could see him travelling to Hungary later in the year.

With 65 athletes competing it was a very busy day and a half for King’s athletes.

The New Zealand Swimming, Division 2 Swimming Championship was last weekend where two of our students competed and came away with some impressive results.

The 2019 School Board of Trustee Elections are being held in June. The NZ School Trustees Association (NZSTA) is working very hard to encourage parent and whanau participation on school boards in order to help shape and support the education of their children. The Korari Programme is for anyone interested in finding out about standing for the school board elections and having a say in the education of their children.
