If you are a person who would like to help the homeless but don’t know where to start then this could be an option for you.

Christians meet and provide a meal for the homeless every week on Wednesday nights in the city. Approximately 100 people come to receive this free meal regularly. If you would be interested in buying a couple of extra grocery items and dropping them in at the Senior Campus reception area, Mrs Lambert's husband will deliver them.

This could mean buying the same extra item each week, such as:

• Packets of biscuits, crackers
  
• Deodorant
  
• Toothbrushes/toothpaste
  
• Soap
• Cans of drink, bottles of water
  

With winter coming, we would also take any donations of adult sized warm clothing, beanies, scarves, gloves and blankets.
