One of the blessings that has occurred as a result of Covid restrictions, has been an unprecedented opportunity to nurture our international students.

Traditionally, most students return home over the Christmas holidays to reconnect with their culture and their families.

This year our students are choosing to remain in New Zealand and enjoy a long hot kiwi summer, rather than risk not being able to return for their education in 2021.

​KingsWay School International Students:

• We have 40 international students who will be remaining in New Zealand over the Christmas holidays
• 33 of these students live with their own families
• 7 students live with a homestay family

​Adopt - a - family:

We would like to invite you to consider "adopting" an international family/student over the Christmas holidays. Most of our international families have their own transport and are happy to drive to various places.

• It could be a regular (weekly) outing together (eg. Holiday outings, beach picnics).
  
• It could be a one-off invitation (eg. Christmas dinner for an international family – usually Mum and child).

Please prayerfully consider how we can serve these families who are in our community.
