2018 Fundraising

KingsWay School —

As a school we have an outward focus and create opportunities for our staff and students to be the hands and feet of Jesus both locally and abroad through Extension Ministries. We pray, plan, facilitate these opportunities initiated by staff, students and the school.

We always want to steward well, therefore, as a school we are committed to have fundraising to support this outward focus. Every year we engage the two “Up-n-Go” vending machines and Entertainment books at school as frundraisers to facilitate this “outward” focus.

2018 fundraising will focus on:

  • Term 1 – Crisp mints (all school mission)
  • Term 2 – Necessity kits to orphans the team work with (Malawi)
  • Term 3 – ACT backpacks to enable children to have education (Cambodia)

I would like to introduce to you our “Crisp” fundraiser. Thank you to Ella Shepherd (alumni 2017) who created the logo for us. We are working with the Churches Education Commission (CEC) and have ordered 15,000 containers of mints. The proceeds for this will be divided as follows:

· 55% to CEC

· 45% to KingsWay School

10 containers of mints will be distributed to eldest and only students in Years 1-13 between 12-16 March that we will sell for $2.00 per container. Instructions are in the envelope accompanying the mints. We ask for your prayerful and enthusiastic support and partnership in our efforts.

We look forward to spreading God’s love further in our community, country and abroad.
