Refine

KingsWay School —

This Young Enterprise Group have done an amazing job to get a fully functioning website up and running in a very short time. Please read further and click on their website link!

Refine are a Young Enterprise Group made up of Mi Rae Han (CEO), Shannon Liddell, Saskia Connor, Hellenna Messer, and Courtney Jansen. Refine sells sustainably and ethically made jewellery made from recycled and repurposed material. The girls search local op-shops and purchase old jewellery which they then use to produce their own designs.

They have a highly professional website – www.yesrefine.co.nz which can accept credit card payments. They are partnering with GEE Nepal and will be donating 10% of their profits to this amazing organisation headed up by an ex-KingsWay student Alannah Wesche.

Please have a look at their website and reach out to them if you can offer any assistance in their Young Enterprise journey!

Mi Rae Han, CEO of Refine explains a little further...

Our group ‘Refine’ was started on the basis of wanting to inspire and encourage others to find unique ways to repurpose and reduce waste in our world.

Through making jewellery ethically, with repurposed materials, we make old fashion and make it new again. That even the small things can make a big impact in standing against excess, unethical and wasteful products. Our goal as a company is not only to bring out the conversation of ethics behind the average person’s belongings but also to help communities across the world while doing so. By collaborating with GEE Nepal, we want to spread the message of their charity and also support them by giving them 10% of all our profits.
