Message from Vanessa Gatman - Deputy Principal Middle Years

Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,

At the Middle School assembly this week, we had the privilege of hearing from the Senior School Tonga Mission Team. In the July holidays, these students travelled to Tonga to serve amongst the community and share the gospel. It was a faith-growing time for all involved. Our school has such rich service opportunities, and it is our heart that every KingsWay student captures this desire to be a servant leader for God's Kingdom. In Middle School, we foster this desire for missions by creating opportunities for our students to serve both formally and informally. While we want them to be part of organised mission initiatives, we also want to encourage them to serve by loving and looking out for others all the time.

Our Lion King Jr production opens this Friday. Please don't miss out on seeing this spectacular show!

Middle Years Wellbeing - Deans

Our mission at KingsWay School is to provide the highest quality education for every child entrusted to our care within a framework of Christian values, positive attitudes, and caring citizenship so that each child can develop a love of learning and achieve their potential. For our students to get the greatest benefit from their education in school, they need to have good attendance and arrive punctually. As they grow and prepare for their following stages of education and employment, they need to see good attendance and punctuality as essential qualities that employers and others value.

Punctual students are planners who give attention to future events and the time required to honour their commitments. Proverbs 21:5 says, “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” Diligent people are usually punctual because wise time management is required to accomplish their goals. Students need every opportunity to learn, participate, and flourish by regularly attending school or kura.
