Partnership with Organizations (Implementation Phase)
Annual Plan Target
Strong and productive partnerships with mission organisations exist to support the vision of KingsWay Missions.
Background
KingsWay School has strong relationships with Asian Outreach and Motivate. In addition to working with these organisations, we have been looking for other partnerships that will support local and domestic missions. The need for this to be strong is even more prevalent due to the inability to travel overseas due to COVID-19.
Progress
We have partnered with Elevate Disability Trust, sending six of our Middle School students and two adults to serve at their Kids Connect camp. This was a fantastic opportunity, where our students were a buddy for a disabled child for the 3 day camp. We are currently looking at other ways that we can work with Elevate in the future.
We are also exploring opportunities with a building maintenance ministry and with Exellere College in Whangarei. We are excited to again be offering students the chance to engage with the Otara community through a domestic mission in Term 3.
