Full School Notices - Week 3, Term 4

KingsWay School —

Direct Debits - an important notice to all parents

NZCPT would like to remind parents of the following:

Direct Debits for Year 13 students graduating this year will be amended or cancelled before January 2023, provided the account is up to date. We request parents who have an alternative payment plan in place make the necessary amendments to their payments at the end of the year once the account has been paid in full.

If students are not returning to KingsWay School next year, a term’s notice must be given to Marsell Rott, enrolment@kingsway.school.nz. Direct debits for students who have notified the school that they will be leaving this year will be amended or cancelled before January 2023.

Statements are available on request by emailing rene.ames@nzcpt.nz.

Internship 2023

For Year 13 Students planning a “Gap Year” (particularly students considering teaching as a future career) or who wish to serve the school community, the KingsWay School Internship Programme for 2023 might be a good option for them.

Their year can be tailored to match their interests, and the position may be full-time or part-time whilst serving at KingsWay School. Options for tertiary study alongside their intern commitment are available.

For further information please see the school website Our Community / Getting Involved or contact Clare Steel clare.steel@kingsway.school.nz.

Key Dates for Term 1, 2023

I have included some of the whole school dates in the first few weeks for easy reference. However, please continue the practice of referring to the website and reading communication updates to keep informed of upcoming events and unexpected changes to the calendar and the 2023 Key Dates page.

Student Withdrawal Notices

If you intend to withdraw your child/children from KingsWay School, you are required to give a full term’s notice in writing to Enrolments and include which school your child will be transferring to.

Please send withdrawal notices to: enrolment@kingsway.school.nz

There is no need to inform of the intention of withdrawal for students leaving at the end of Year 13.

If you have a child in Year 12 who may be leaving at the end of the year to pursue a tertiary course or work placement, please signal this in writing to Enrolments by the end of Term 3.

Parent Prayer Group

We are thankful for our praying parents, who pray for KingsWay School and our community. Those who currently attend our prayer groups would love more parents and caregivers to join them:

  • Junior Campus on Tuesdays at 9am in the Staffroom
  • Senior Campus on Fridays at 9am - meet in reception

Grandparents are welcome too! Praying in your first language is not a problem. The most important part about praying is that we are joined together in unity:

"...For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matt 18:20
