Year 1 Newsletter
Week 9, Term 1
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whānau
Every Tuesday morning our tamariki start the day with Worship Assembly, combined with the Year 2's in the hall. It is such a beautiful start to the day when we unite in worshipping our God together and may we never forget what a privilege it is that our tamariki can come to school and express their faith, honour and love for God so freely. As we fix our eyes on Jesus and seek to grow in Christ-like character we worship with songs that are full of actions and energy. Everyone participates wholeheartedly, some without reserve, especially during the all-time favourite song “This little light of mine”. As we set this time aside in our busy days to focus on God and thank Him for who He is, tamariki have the opportunity to grow in faith and courage when they volunteer to lead in prayer. Time is also spent on unpacking the meaning of our weekly memory verse.

Please deposit the money into the PTA's account. Please ensure you put your child's class code in the reference so the money can be allocated accordingly. Your support with this is greatly appreciated!
