Week 4, Term 3
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whanau,
Maths Week is a wonderful event that takes place in schools throughout New Zealand. It fosters students' interest, cultivates an environment that cultivates enjoyment in Maths, as well as providing practical applications in everyday life.
As part of Maths Week, Jono from ASB GetWise visited KingsWay to teach children about good money habits. During an engaging workshop, students learned about the basics of money management in four different stages. This included identifying needs and wants, learning how to save, budgeting, and more. These lessons provided students with a solid foundation to build upon.
