Transition to Middle School Year 7
The Year 6 students had the privilege of walking across to the Middle School on Monday afternoon. They were greeted by Ms Madison Cornwall, Year 7 HoLA as well as four of the Year 8 students, Isaac Bandara, Shyla Dickinson, Bella Pistorius and Lucas Ng. They were given an overview of what to expect when they transition to Middle School in 2023. The Year 9 Peer support groups then gave the Year 6 students a tour of the Senior Campus.

Year 6 Graduation Letter
As part of this special evening, we are asking that parents of each Year 6 student write a letter to their child, which will be presented to them that night. Parents may choose to write the letter together or a letter each. The letter may contain your thoughts, a fond memory, a prayer, a poem, or a blessing over their child, completing their final year of primary school and entering another phase of their life.
This letter can be emailed as an attachment(.pdf) to, taryn.wrath@kingsway.school.nz or handwritten before Monday 28th November. If handwritten, please put the letter in a clearly marked (sealed) envelope and hand it to Mrs. Wrath.
Graduation Photos
Please can each child download individual photos on their computer of themselves in Year 1 (5 or 6 years old) and Year 6 (10 or 11 years old). They can also have extra photos of their favourite memory or highlights of their Primary School Years. This is in preparation for their graduation slide show which they will be creating.
