Senior Boys Volleyball Tournament Article

Volleyball this year for the boys gave us so many opportunities to structure our thoughts in how we want to play the game, how to put those thoughts into action and how to do this as a team.
Volleyball is heavily based on teamwork and team moral, lucky for the boys they had just that. I think my fellow team mates would agree that they stood out on the court for comradery and unity. There were times where the boys would drop mentally but that would not stop us from achieving victory and even though we faced hardship in the teams that we versed, I think the boys would not trade their moments together for the world. I encourage you, if you like team sports, try Kingsway Volleyball, you will love it.

Term 2 & 3 Sports Teams Registrations

Once registrations close and trials are completed, MS and Senior teams will be named on the school web site under Team Lists.

Please note a lot of time and effort goes into selecting teams. We do our best to get teams right. Once the teams are made up, if a child pulls out it can leave a team short, cause players to be swapped about in teams and a lot of work administratively both at school and at association level. It can even mean a team has not got enough players to compete in the competition for the season.

Therefore fees will not be reimbursed to students who don’t make their choice of team in their chosen code or who no longer want to play and who then choose to withdraw.

Life Lessons through Sport

While we often talk about success in youth sport through the lens of competition, there are also other ways that success in youth sport is defined.

Please be aware that this year there may be a late fee attached to students who register after the close off dates.
