Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whānau, 

We had an exceptional farewell for our Year 13 students on Wednesday, with mixed feelings of both joy and sadness for our Year 9s who said goodbye to their Peer Support leaders.

There are still a number of outstanding Work Experience Day Permission forms and there is a new permission form for the Water Fun Day that needs to be completed as soon as possible.

Year 9 Camp – the permission form and payment are urgent as these were due on Monday, 31 October. 

Dietary requirements on camp – Finlay Park have an $33.00 surcharge for students that have special dietary requirements, e.g. gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and nut allergies. Please include this information in the permission form under the allergies section and pay the surcharge amount into the Middle School account. If your child's dietary requirements are not requested, your child's needs will not be catered for.

We are looking forward to the Year 9 Camp at Finlay Park in Term 4. Please complete the official permission and EOTC form below. Thank you to the many of you who have already been making payments towards your child's camp cost. Full payment was due by Monday, 31 October. You can check your child's account balance in the Kamar Portal. A link to the gear list is included below.

Year 9 Work Experience Day

As part of our ongoing Health / Careers work, Year 9 students have an opportunity to seek work experience for one day. The aim for this work placement is to see our students better equipped to make informed choices for careers and life.

Year 9 Water Fun Day

  • Thursday, 17 November

Students will travel by bus to the venue, leaving school at 9:00am and returning to school by 3:00pm.

Wear: PE uniform
Bring: Full lunch and drink bottle, swimsuit (no bikinis) and towel
Parent helpers: We require several parent helpers per class. Please indicate your availability on the permission form. We can't do it without you!

Option Subject Trips

If your child is taking one of these option subjects this semester, please complete the trip permission form by the due date. Students cannot attend these trips if we have not received payment BEFORE the event. You can check whether you have paid by logging into the Parent Portal and viewing your child's account.
