For the last few weeks, the Whānau Council, also known as the House Council, has been running a mascot competition for both the Junior and Senior campuses. The purpose of the competition was to allow students from all houses (Youngman, Darby, Cook, and Braddock) to channel their artistic side and draw a creative idea for a mascot to do with their specific house.
The Whānau council had the privilege of judging 100 amazing entries, and the artworks were judged based on creativity, skill, and relevance to their house. The turnout for this competition exceeded our expectations. It is wonderful to see the creativity we have in our school.
