TEACHER AIDE

Learning Support Department

In 2021 we will require a Teacher Aide to support students’ learning in groups or on an individual basis.

Teacher Aides require excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with students, teachers and learning support specialists. A sympathetic nature, flexible attitude and a love of working with students are prerequisites. While experience would be an advantage, we are willing to train a suitable applicant.

This is a permanent, part-time position and applicants should be aware that days of work will be by negotiation dependent on the needs of student/s requiring support. Exact hours of work are dependent on the Ministry of Education funding but generally less than 20 hours per school week. This is a school term time only position.
