9PES Surfing Trip

As part of our Year 9 Physical Education Studies, we are booked to attend the O’Neill Surf Academy at Orewa Beach. The aim of this day is to introduce a new sport to the students that is fun regardless of size, skill and ability. It also teaches them to be confident when in and around the surf.

Students are to come to school in mufti with their togs underneath. We will be walking from school to Orewa Beach via the estuary walkway, leaving at 9:00 am and retuning by 3.00 pm.

Date: Tuesday, 21 March
Time: 9:00 am to 3.00 pm
Where: Orewa Beach Surf Club
Bring: Togs, towel, wetsuit (these will be provided), HAT, shoes, warm clothes, SUN BLOCK, lunch and a big drink.

Please note that we will need 2 parent helpers for the day, if you can help please indicate on the permission form.

NOTE: Students cannot attend this trip if we have not received payment BEFORE the event. You can check whether you have paid by logging into the Parent Portal and viewing your child's account.
