Year 13 Ball
Growth and Resilience | Embrace challenge as essential to thriving amidst the highs and lows of learning, life and love.
“I wish this was my ball!”
This was a comment by one of the young waiters at the Markovina Estate on Friday 23 June, where our students were dressed in their finest and partying their hearts out.
KingsWay School is truly blessed with the calibre of students we have. Without exception, they took 1 Timothy 4:12 to heart: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
We pay tribute to our students for their conduct in the way they celebrated together in living out this verse.
I want to thank those who assisted in making this ball the success it was:
To my predecessors, Cherie Perow and Claire Trebilco, you were stalwarts and were always on-call to help. Linda Clarke for standing in when I couldn’t be with the group.
The staff at the school for looking at TEAMS and reaching out when I was looking for the mysterious Fairy lights and more.
To the Ball Committee of 2023, you guys rock! You pulled it off so well and held your heads high when the little arrows came your way. Leadership is not always about being popular but to rise above criticism. Just look at what you did and realise it was all worth it.
KingsWay students of 2023, you are an asset to the school. May all the students that follow strive to exceed the bar you have raised for them.
Below are selection of the many photos taken on the night.
