Improving student wellbeing is the second foci of our Kahui Ako.

Background

Increasingly, how to improve student wellbeing is becoming a very topical issue. The added pressure of living under the constraints of COVID has only exacerbated the issue and stresses upon our student community.

Progress

The Kahui Ako team are investigating ways in which we can build resilience in our students and improve overall student wellbeing. We are looking at what life skills our students need to learn in order to face the world with confidence. We have engaged speakers for our June and August Teacher Only days to bring in outside expertise on this crucial subject.
