Message from Vanessa Gatman - Deputy Principal Middle Years
Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,
Middle School has been alive with activity this week. Some of our students were privileged to be a part of the Big Sing at the Auckland Town Hall, performing with the Year 7-13 choir. On Tuesday, we had our onsite Year 7 Culture activity day which included a hāngī. These were rich learning opportunities for our students.
Last night, we had an incredible range of students learning and achievement showcased in Science and Technology. Congratulations to our winners. We finished the week off today with the Science Roadshow. The roadshow is NZ’s premiere hands-on science education programme. It includes live shows, hands-on exhibits and teacher resources that broaden student knowledge and experience; connecting with science and technology and the world around them. A very big thank you to the Science and Technology teachers; Mr Gavin Daniel, Mrs Michelle Dunnion, Mr Trevor Coe, Mr Steve Epsom and Mrs Paula Daniel.
Next week we celebrate Matariki with an early morning breakfast and gathering. I look forward to seeing those of you who are attending.

Middle Years Wellbeing - Deans
As we near the end of this term, we encourage you to share the wisdom of Titus 2:7-8 with your children, empowering them to finish strong. Remind them of the importance of integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech as they navigate these final moments. Encourage them to set an example by doing what is good, both academically and in their interactions with others. Remind them of their growth and achievements throughout this term, and instil in them the belief that they can overcome any challenges that come their way. By sharing this verse, you can help provide them with inspiration and motivation to continue to work hard to end the term well.
