The Program is based on developing the skills that lead to growing a love for the game and making playing golf achievable for everyone.
More than just coaching, the program is about meeting the needs of players and parents by including Competition, Organized Practice and Social Elements. The students don’t just teach golf I build a whole golf environment that inspires and motivates players to immerse themselves in the game.
Through the Wellness golf program young players develop all the skills necessary to have fun on the golf course. More than just technical golf skills; It includes development of tactical skills, key physical skills, and the development of behavioral traits to love playing the game.
I aim to ensure that players are ready both physically and emotionally to love the challenges that come with playing our game.
Session Structure
A 45 minute session typically encompasses of;
10 Minute Review from the previous week and Warm Up based on working on two of the physical competencies that link to skill we are focusing on this week
20 Minutes of Skills Content working towards the technical and tactical competencies in the Skill cards e.g Golf hitting to targets at 30 and 50 meters, fun hitting – use demonstration
10 minutes of Competitive Play linked to the skills from the other parts of the lesson .e.g Scoring game into the target zones, focus on balance.
For longer sessions the format should be the same but each block can be made longer.

Social Teams for 2023
If you have a group of friends that would like to play a sport together in a local social or competitive competition we are happy put teams together and enter you. Either with or without training sessions.
Sport does not have to be competitive to enjoy but getting some fitness regularly with a bunch of mates is great. If you would like to explore this option further come and chat with Mrs Lynda Hay in the Sports office.
Registration for Sport
Please find all the information and links to register on the web page. There are several tabs along the top of the pages. If you click on the 'fees and registration' tab this will take you to information on registering your child on the MyKindo app. MyKindo needs to be updated once a year with your child's year and class (especially if your child is moving from Primary to MS). If your information is not updated you may miss out on vital information. If you are having trouble with anything on the mykindo registration page please click on the ? on the top right of the mykindo page and their help desk will be able to assist you. We apologise but the TIC or Sports Dept are unable to help with issues on the mykindo registration page.
Automatic Payments (AP) to pay for sports.
Automatic payments for winter sports can be started now and must be completed by the date specified on the web site for that sport. If you are interested in paying sport fees by AP please sign up for your sport under the AP registration.
