Year 8 Newsletter
Week 6, Term 2
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,
The students were buzzing after our trip to Tree Adventures last week, it was a real highlight. The teachers were so impressed by the way everyone challenged themselves to push through when they felt out of their comfort zone. Most of all, we loved seeing the way the students encouraged one another to succeed. A huge thank you to the parents who came. We could not do trips without you and appreciate your help and support.
Thanks also for getting behind Market Day coming up on Wednesday. Most of the groups would not have any items to sell without your help to make it happen. It has really engaged the students and provided an authentic opportunity to teach financial literacy to the Year 8s. All the money we raise will go towards missions.
Please read through the Wider Learning Options for Semester 2 booklet in the Middle School Newsletter and fill in the form by Friday, 9 June.
