The Aspiring Leadership Programme
Annual Plan Target
Aspiring leaders are identified and placed on an aspiring leadership development programme. These leaders are well resourced to maximise their growth and potential. Training and shadowing opportunities provide for individual aspirations for stepping into leadership roles.
Background
KingsWay is part of a wider network of Christian schools and is committed to developing school leaders who step up confidently into leadership roles. Experience has also taught us that it is preferential to appoint homegrown leaders who understand and are committed to Christian education aspirations.
Progress
The Executive Principal developed a comprehensive 20-week leadership development programme that incorporates both practical and philosophical school leadership elements. Aspiring school leaders applied and were appointed for this programme that commences in Term 2, 2021.
