Dear KingsWay Community,

When you read this letter, I will be in Europe jointly supervising 40 of our Senior School students on the Arts and History trip. As KingsWay’s roll grows, the school is getting to be a busy place that requires the whole community to pull together to bring about success. Not too dissimilar to the analogy used in 1 Corinthians I stand amazed at how different aspects of the school lovingly pull together to ensure great outcomes for our students and to the glory of God. This letter is the last official communication for the year, so I want to highlight a few important bits of information relevant to the start of 2020.

Induction Videos

The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) recently produced a series of orientation video clips for parents and students. These videos intend to provide information for new members to the community or a recap for existing individuals of key aspects of life at KingsWay School, such as how to access Kamar (the school’s Student Management System).

Note: The link to these videos will be published in a separate newsletter at the end of Term 4.

Start of the Year Information

Thank you for once again partnering with parents to deliver great Christian education at KingsWay School. Our school continues to enjoy a strong reputation as a school of choice for Christian families in Auckland.

Listed below are some key dates for your reference. Other syndicate specific calendars and rosters will be issued to you closer to the start of the year and the KingsWay School calendar for 2020 can now be viewed the website. I have included a few key dates for ease of reference. Please note that all campuses will be officially closed from 16 December - 20 January.

Uniform Expectations 2020

Please ensure that you partner with the school in ensuring that the correct uniform is worn from the start of the year. The school adopts a zero-tolerance for incorrect uniform use, unless accompanied by a medical certificate. A difficult area relates to footwear. KingsWay Website

The website remains the School’s official means of communication. All information is kept up to date to ensure that the community can find relevant information when required.
