Year 7 School Based Immunisation Programme for 2019
As a part of the Waitemata District Health Board’s school based immunisation programme, all students in year 7 will be offered the BOOSTRIX immunisation (booster vaccinations for Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough).
Parents and caregivers are welcomed and encouraged to attend a teaching session, to be held for the students Wednesday, 10th April at 9.15am, in the Wharenui room.
This session will be presented by a WDHB public health nurse and will include a short video and a time for questions
The following link will take you to the video that will be shown to the students: CLICK HERE
If you do not wish your child to attend this educational session please notify your child’s form teacher.
All Year 7 students will be given a form to take home which needs to be completed and signed by a parent or caregiver and returned to school whether you are consenting or non-consenting to the immunisation.
