ESOL TEACHER AIDE 2021

KingsWay School is seeking a person who is passionate about helping both domestic and international students with language acquisition. The successful candidate will join our growing and enthusiastic ESOL team who have a heart for assisting our language learners. This is a fixed term, part time position, where you will work 22 hours, Mon-Thurs (9am-3pm), for 37 weeks of the year. An ESOL qualification is an advantage as is an affinity for the special character of the school.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage as you will be required to:

• Communicate effectively with a wide range of learners demonstrating varied levels of language ability
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the language acquisition process to help student progress through the English Language Learning Progressions
• Function independently and in a team to achieve student growth targets
• Conduct assessments of student progress and complete associated administrative tasks.
