Congratulations to James Donovan (Year 10) who recently swam in the New Zealand Swimming Team in Australia and has been selected again to compete at 2019 NSW Open Water Champs in Sydney in December Swimming 7.5km and 2.5km.

Swimming for the New Zealand Swimming Team in Australia recently, James came 3rd in his heat for 1500m freestyle and 9th overall with a 6.7 second Personal Best. This was his first international competition and he swam against some older (and bigger) Australian swimmers, the top swimmers from each state in Australia. James is the current NZ Champion in 800m & 1500m freestyle.
