Are you interested in playing Hockey? Come along and practice your skills. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to playing or if you’re a seasoned player.

Age: Year 6 to year 13
Dates: Friday 8th November – Friday 13th December
Cost: $18 (that’s $3 per week) payable before commencing.
Where: Millwater hockey turf (right next door to KngsWay School)
Equipment: Hockey Stick (we can provide you with a school stick if new). Your own shoes – no moulded rugby soles or rugby sprigs to be worn. A mouth guard is not mandatory but is recommended
Coaches: Jackson Leaf with assistance of Merv Huxford (who coached our MS boys this season.)

Who Am I?

I’m an ex-Kingsway student who’s been coaching hockey since 2012, I love being able to build up people’s confidence and natural athleticism through hockey. Over the past years I have noticed a steady decline of players who are signing up to play hockey at KingsWay. My goal is that by running this academy, I will be able to bring in people who may not have thought of trying this sport or be able to bring back old players who haven’t played in a while. I will be going over the basic fundamental skills of the game this term with varying degrees of difficulty to accommodate the wide range of skill levels.
