Week 1, Term 3
Kia Ora Parents and Whanau,
Welcome back to Term 3. We are really looking forward to the term ahead with the Year 6 Students.
Topic Inquiry - "The Wonder Of Water"
This term in our Topic Inquiry we will be learning about "The Wonder of Water." We will be looking at why we have a responsibility to take care of water and to steward this precious resource wisely, to ensure its availability for future generations.

The Junior Campus finishes school at 2pm on Thursday 27th July for the Parent Teacher conferences that day/night)
Dates for Diaries
Please note that on Monday the 28th of August we have a teacher only day. We know that many of you will need time to plan for childcare on this day.
Talent Show
In Term 3 we will be running our annual Talent Contest. This is an opportunity for students to showcase their talent. In the past we've had singers, musicians, scientists, dancers, magicians and sports tricks. Auditions are about a minute long, run at the Junior Campus with the finalists performing at the Senior Campus. - Auditions: Monday, 31 July, Thursday, 3 August, Friday, 4 August.
- Reserve Day: Tuesday, 8 August (if Auditions aren’t concluded).
- Finals on Senior Campus : Thursday, 24 August, Lunch Time
Year 6 Camp (Wednesday 18th - Friday 20th October)
If you have not done so, please fill in our Camp Permission and Parent Volunteer Form regarding our end of year camp at Camp Adair. Year 6 camp is a great way for students to grow spiritually, challenge themselves physically, and reflect on their time in Primary School.
