COVID Update

KingsWay School —

Dear Parents,

It was thrilling to see more cohorts of students return today. I made a point to observe the start of school today and was satisfied that students are now mostly adhering to our Red Traffic Light procedures. I know that it is challenging, but we are obliged to adhere to the guidelines in place without causing unnecessary anxiety. A reminder to please refer to our COVID Procedures and Protocols if you have not done so already.

The first few days have highlighted a few issues:

  • We request that parents avoid coming on-site unless their child is experiencing anxiety or in Year 1. If necessary, please wear a mask.
  • I also request that you highlight this respectfully if you or your child has a mask exemption as staff are only doing their job of keeping our students safe. We have masks at reception if required.
  • Please scan in when you enter the site and report to reception if you intend to stay for an extended length of time.
  • Please send your child with a spare mask in their bag in case their mask breaks.

Please note that we have added a COVID Notification Form on the website if you or a household member test positive for COVID or isolate as a close contact.

Thank you for the suggestions and positive comments at the start of the year. We are blessed with a wonderful community.

God bless,

Graeme Büdler
Executive Principal

Additional Note Regarding Accounts and Payments

The beginning of the year is always a busy time with processing payments received over the summer break while our offices are closed. This year we have had a few staffing changes in our Support Staff team, so we would appreciate your patience as we work our way through crediting your account with your payment. Please feel free to contact us at the end of the month if you still have an outstanding query.

Thank you for understanding.
