Our International Department is currently seeking additional accommodation options for international students, particularly for boys. They are looking for families who are outgoing, active, and welcoming to host international students in their homes. Families with school-aged children are preferred.

Homestay Family Criteria

To become a homestay family, certain criteria need to be met, such as:

• Homestay families need to be fluent English speakers.

• A homestay caregiver needs to provide all meals, as well as compassionate care and concern for the student.

• They will be responsible for an international student 24/7 when they are not attending school (as you would your own child).

• Not all international students come from Christian homes, so potentially, this is an evangelistic opportunity.

• An international student needs to have their own bedroom equipped with bed, linen, wardrobe and/or drawers, desk, lamp etc.

• Homestay families are remunerated with learning about another culture, showing the love of Jesus and being paid $380 per week in 2025 and $420 per week in 2026.
