Message from Cristal McKoy - Head of Primary School
Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,
There are so many wonderful activities and trips that are happening at Primary. Last week our adventurous Year 4's attended their annual surf trip and the Year 1 and 2's enjoyed looking at the history of our area at the Silverdale Pioneer Village. In Week 8 our Year 3 and 4's are off to visit Sheep World as part of their learning around the history of NZ farming and agriculture. Thank you to those who are able to support these events by attending as parent helpers, we are very grateful as they can't go ahead without your help.
We also have a number of lunchtime activities available for the children to participate in. Please talk to your child about what they enjoy and remind them of when they happen.
- Choir in the hall (Monday with Mrs Lin)
- Y5/6 Kapa Haka in the hall (Wednesday with Mrs Weston and Mrs Hetrick) NB: This will open to other year levels in Term 2-4.
- Library open (Tue - Fri with Mrs Coles)
- Coding Club in Y5 Owhanga (Friday with Mrs Jeppe)
