A Note from Graeme Budler, Executive Principal

Dear KingsWay Community,

Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa.

The school’s leadership eagerly await tomorrow’s announcement by the Minister of Education. We will then consider and update the community on Thursday on the pragmatic details that follow to get our students and staff back to school safely.

I know that this is now dragging on somewhat, but I pray for everyone to exercise a little more patience and perseverance. Just a reminder that we conclude distance learning at 1 pm on a Wednesday when in lockdown.

Vaccination Register

Please continue to complete this FORM (one submission for each child) once your child has been vaccinated

Once your child has had two vaccinations, please send a copy of their completed immunisation card or certificate to KingsWay’s Lead Registered Nurse anita.wicks@kingsway.school.nz

Please note that you can decline this request in which case your child is marked as unvaccinated. This data is only collected for aggregation purposes and to update our health records should there be a Covid outbreak at KingsWay School. Specific personal information cannot and will not be shared with other agencies without your express permission in keeping with privacy laws.

Wellbeing

To support wellbeing through this extended lockdown, KingsWay are producing a series of episodes that focus on living lockdown life well. Each episode will be 3-4 mins in length and will provide encouragement and strategies for maintaining wellbeing. Episode 1 is available now and the next episode will be available on Thursday. Two episodes will be published weekly, released on Monday and Thursday.
