This year, the 1st XI Girls’ Hockey team have done exceptionally well. They have been promoted into the Supercity Competition, which is the top grade in Auckland, playing the top teams.

Team Spirit is an important part of our culture, and we play and communicate accordingly, both on and off the field. Being a part of this team culture ensures that we encourage and support each other.

Getting into Supercity this year has stretched our team, but we have been working harder at training and running extra laps during fitness! It does take a bit of dedication to be on the turf by 7am on a winter’s day for training, but this means we are ready and rearing to go for the start of class.

As a team, we are so excited for the rest of our games and can’t wait to give it our all on the field and strive for more wins. This opportunity has brought us closer as a team as we all get to experience team together and have fun while expanding our skills.
