KingsWay School —

Week 1, Term 3

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,

Welcome to Term 3!

This Term we are taking a Deep Dive into the ocean as our Topic. We will be exploring the different zones in the ocean and the animals which live in each zone. We will also be investigating the adaptations that these creatures have to survive in the depths of the ocean. Our main focus of this Topic is to see how the ocean reflects God’s power. We will also be exploring the ways that we can trust God to help us through the storms of life. We are looking forward to a wonderful and exciting Topic.

In the last week of Term 2 the children joined the Year 1s to teach the children how to play the games they created for their Ingenious Inventors Topic. The delight and pride in their faces was an absolute wonder to see. The Year 1 children were very grateful for the games and the opportunity to connect with the Year 4 children.
