Picking up students from the Senior Campus after school.

Dear Parents,

Recently it has been brought to our attention that several parents have been ticketed outside the Jelas Road entrance due to parking infringements. Management has reviewed the traffic plan and decided in the interests of maintaining a good relationship with our community and keeping on the right side of the law to amend our traffic plan. Unfortunately parking inside school premises is not viable, however, parking in the adjacent Totara Views streets is a recommended option. This would involve your child taking a short 80m walk to Saltwood Street (following routes A or B as indicated). This alternative pick up is in place between 15:15pm – 16:00pm. 

The kiss-and-drop in the mornings appears to be working well and this plan will remain.
Restricted parking at school during peak hour pickup and drop-off time is experienced by all schools as confirmed with Auckland Council. Unfortunately the school has no jurisdiction and receives no special dispensation from the Traffic Department.
