NZQA is moving towards digital assessment in the external NCEA exams in November. The goal is for all exams to be digital by 2020. This year KingsWay students doing Level 1 English, Level 2 English and Level 2 Media Studies will be able to use their laptops to do their external exams.

These students will sit their KingsWay practice exams in Term 4, Week 1 under the same conditions as they will have in their external exams. They will have a paper copy of the exam as well as one on their device, and if they choose not to use their laptop, they will be able to write the exam on the paper. Students will have three hours to complete their standards.

Can you please ensure that students doing these subjects have devices which are working properly. Students will be able to bring their chargers and plug their laptops in during the exam.
