Community Update, 11 November 2021

KingsWay School —

A Note from Graeme Budler, Executive Principal

Dear KingsWay Community,

Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa.

Thank you to those parents who completed the survey yesterday. You still have until tonight to complete this survey, but please know that we won’t hold you to your response. We are using this data generically to inform our plan for the rest of the term. The good news is that we will share this plan as part of tomorrow’s update for your consideration.

Please remember to complete an update of your child’s COVID vaccination record asap if you have not done so already. We respect your ability to choose, but please respond anyway so we can register your choice as required by the MoE. Please complete this FORM

Regards,

Ngā mihi nui and God bless,

Graeme Büdler
Executive Principal

Lockdown Life Series

For our final episode in the Lockdown Life series, Ann Bailey encourages us to change the way we think about our worries. She challenges us to confront our ‘What Ifs’ with surety in the truth of the Lord and stating “Even if…’ instead. View Episode 6 – Dealing with ‘What If’ NOW.

Thanks to all the people who contributed to the Lockdown Life series. The Wellbeing Team continue to pray for our community as we navigate these interesting times. If you wish to view any of the episodes in this series please open the pdf attached at the base of this newsletter.

Learning Packs

Parents of Primary students are invited to our Drive Through Pick Up on Friday 12th November (Tomorrow) from 3pm – 5pm on the Senior Campus to collect the next Learning Pack for their children. These packs have been carefully and intentionally designed to provide learning for the students at their appropriate level and to build on the learning currently taking place. They will be used by the students whether they are at home or back at school.

Middle School Notices

We are so excited to know that we are able to return to onsite learning next week. Please be patient with us as we work out the details of what is best for our students. All details will be communicated on Monday as per Graeme Budler’s video update yesterday.
