What we are doing as a school:

We have approximately 30 student leaders from Years 10-13 who are endeavouring to engage all students in the World Vision effort, to look outside of themselves by raising money for people suffering from the effects of Famine in Sub Saharan Africa.

Our target is $20 000 but we’re secretly hoping to double that! There is a class competition to see which class (and their teacher) can raise the most money in the different areas of the school - Primary, Middle and Senior School.

All School Mufti Day

This Friday, 25 June, we have an ALL SCHOOL Mufti Day, pizza lunch (Senior Campus) and sausage sizzles (Junior Campus).

Senior School Quiz Night

Senior School students are holding a Quiz Night on Friday 25 June at the KingsWay Event Centre CLICK HERE which is open to the community, or you can simply donate to the cause atKingsWay School World Vision Fundraising.

Middle School 'Wheels for Meals'

Middle School will hold a 'Wheels for Meals' fun lunchtime where they will pay an entrance fee to use their scooters/skateboards etc on Friday 25 June.

Primary School 'Chores for Change'

Primary School are doing 'Chores for Change', volunteering their time to help raise money.

Individuals and groups of students have a variety of ways of fundraising:

  • There is an online concert where you can donate and select a song played by our own Mr Sharplin.
  • A group of Senior students and some Staff members will be walking the Kai walk each raising a minimum of $50 by walking 20km between 5.00am - 8.30am on Saturday 26 June.

There are many other students who are planning to fundraise in various ways for the 40 Hour Famine. Please support them as we stand together to fight the biggest hunger pandemic in our generation affect millions around the world!
