Next Top Coder!

KingsWay School —

Congratulations to Jonathan Squirrell (Year 11) for winning third place in the Empire Code Asia Pacific Next Top Coder competition!

Jonathan Squirrell entered the Empire Code Asia Pacific Next Top Coder competition run in conjunction with Microsoft. It was open to students in the Asia Pacific region between 13-19 years. There were over a thousand entries and they were asked to create a tutorial in Minecraft Education Edition to teach about a period or event in history. Jonathan created a tutorial about the Roman Triumph ceremony which Paul alludes to in 2nd Corinthians. He won third place!

On Friday last week, Jonathan, accompanied by his mum and Mr David Lee, visited the Microsoft office. Jonathan was given the chance to play with the HoloLens Mixed reality headset. Jonathan received an Augmented Reality headset for his third place prize.

Congratulations Jonathan for your hard work and achievement. We hope you enjoy playing with your prize!
