KingsWay School — Aug 23, 2021

A Note from Graeme Budler, Executive Principal

Dear KingsWay Community,

Hopefully, you have adjusted to the new normal. I finally feel we have got the boat sailing and so restrict my correspondence to reminders and maintenance.

A reminder that we go offline tomorrow at 1 pm. I was encouraged yesterday evening when I went for a walk to bump into (not literally for those panicking) a school family playing on the Stanmore Bay fields. I hope we take something away from this challenging time, such as making time and space for essential interactions with our loved ones. I confess that I rushed home, gave my daughter a call, and reminisced about the quality times we spent together.

My challenge to us all is not to wish time away but to seize the day no matter how we feel. There was no more excellent example of this than the apostle Paul, who used the opportunity to preach to the whole palace guard in chains.

Enough from me until tomorrow. Please reach out to us if we can help or pray into a situation.

God bless,

Graeme Budler
Executive Principal
