James Hunter performed at the Pop-Up Globe Theatre on Sunday 21st July as one of the lead characters, Valentine, in Shakespeare's comedy "The Two Gentlemen of Verona". James was selected out of 100’s of applicants aged 15-24 years from around NZ. He made it through to the 60 students who were invited to audition for the play. Only 12 were then chosen to perform as part of this debut youth production. Under the direction of Rita Stone, the Pop-up Globe Youth Theatre Company offers young people the chance to work with the professional team at Pop-up Globe, opening up the theatre's stage and expertise to a new generation of theatre makers. James delivered a polished performance and loved every moment of acting and singing with other talented and passionate young people. He is also thrilled that he will be visiting the site of the real Globe Theatre in England in December on the school trip to Europe.

We are very grateful to God for this opportunity for James to perform in the Pop-up Globe Youth Theatre Company, and we’re also very thankful that KingsWay has provided so much experience and performing arts training throughout his time at school to prepare him for this role.
