Dear Parents,

I want to thank the community for the support we received yesterday, particularly the Primary staff who braved the gale-force winds to deliver home learning packs. Online learning in our Year 7-13 classes is tracking well, and nearly all our students are now connected and learning. Please ensure that you contact your child’s Head of School or Form teacher if you are still experiencing technical issues.

I will keep my introductions short to avoid unnecessary noise, but please contact me if you have any feedback or suggestion.

Primary School

Online class ‘catch-ups’ or meetings will take place throughout the morning tomorrow, starting at 9 am with the Year 1 classes. Please email your child's teacher if you have not yet received the link for this meeting or if you do not know the time it will take place.

Middle School

Thank you for supporting your children today. It was a positive start for our learners and their teachers. The Zoom sessions are going well with some minor technical issues resolved quickly. We are sure that tomorrow we will continue to see our Middle School Distance Learning programme running smoothly. Please do ensure that you feedback regarding technology, learning or your child’s wellbeing to their Form teacher so that we can support as needed. We are praying for our Middle School families.

Senior School

Thank you for your patience as we continue to gear up for online teaching and learning again. By now, all students should have had a short, timetabled lesson with each subject teacher and received some tasks to work through in the next several days. We are working through several technicalities as they arise, especially with new students. If you do have connectivity issues or problems with Teams, please contact Form Class teachers in the first instance and they will forward the information to the right person. It has been pleasing to see students engaged in online lessons and our teachers enjoyed catching up with students online today.
