School Hours

Please note: School is open from 8:30am to 3:30pm every day. Children arriving or leaving outside of these hours will be placed in the care of SKIDS at the parent’s expense. This is a Health and Safety requirement. Perhaps consider car-pooling or sharing care for your children before and after school, if necessary.

Children walking to school from Millwater are to enter through the pedestrian gate and walk past the caretaker’s shed onto the path.

Children’s Safety

Parents using the lower car park and surrounds are reminded to please hold their child’s hands to ensure their safety when arriving and leaving the school grounds. Please reverse into car parks when possible to ensure greater visibility of pedestrians when exiting the car park at peak time.

A reminder to all parents whose children walk to and from school, please ensure your children are well briefed on keeping safe. This is especially important when crossing busy roads and waiting for parents to arrive. Advise your child to find a safe place to cross (i.e. at a crossing or an intersection with traffic lights) and to stop, look, listen and not run.

Please encourage your children to walk in public places not in secluded side streets.

Primary School Uniform

Please ensure your children come to school in the correct uniform. We have noticed some students coming to school without their sandals. Children are to wear black sandals to school in Term 1 and Term 4.

Term 2 - children are to wear black shoes. Year 1-2 students have the option of black shoes with Velcro. Year 3-6 students must wear black shoes with laces or buckles only.  No sandals are to be worn in Term 2 & 3. Girls must wear white socks or navy blue stockings. Boys are to wear the KingsWay uniform socks.

The KingsWay School Uniform Shop is located at the Senior Campus, 100 Jelas Road, Red Beach, and is open during the term on Mondays from 8.30am - 10.30am and Wednesdays from 8.30am - 4.00pm. During the holidays, the Uniform Shop will be open on both Wednesdays from 10am - 2pm.

Disability Parking

Use of disability parking spaces requires a disability permit displayed on the dashboard. Please do NOT park in these spaces at the Junior Campus without one. Disability Parking permits are available at the Junior Campus office.

Activity Fees

Reminder that Primary Activity Fees are due by the end of Term 1. Activity fees are available on the KingsWay website under Primary School/Parent Information/Primary Activity Fees. Please CLICK HERE for the link.
