KingsWay’s biggest ever team contested the third round of the 2022 Auckland Schools mountain-biking cross country series at Totara Park on Sunday. Conditions were some of the worst we’ve seen, but morale was high as all five KingsWay team members battled through mud, mishap, and mechanical misfire to finish well and safely.
David Howie (under-17s) & Dylan Steven (under-13s) we’re joined by Tristan Corbett (under-17s), Ollie Raikes (under-15s), and Sam Anderson (under-16s), all cheered by a strong band of KingsWay supporters. Our recent team members did themselves and us proud, and the team spirit in the KWS squad was terrific. David Howie extended his overall season lead in the under-17s, topping the podium in a well-fought and eventful race.
The next round is at the scenic coastal Waitawa mountain-bike park in September, and we want to encourage all who want to join us to come and be part of it.
