Message from Vanessa Gatman - Deputy Principal Middle Years

Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,

I was very proud of our students this week as they gave it their best at the cross country event. Thank you to Mrs Raelene Beguely (Junior Campus) and Mrs Stephanie Pollock (Middle School) who organised the event. I saw students push themselves and support one another throughout the year levels. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Junior Campus students join us. We have had less opportunities to do events with our younger students so I see these occasions as precious. Our Year 9 whānau leaders also worked with the younger students last week to teach them the whānau chants so the Yr 4-9 chant competition was on! Congratulations to the Braddock whānau who won. Thank you for your support in encouraging your children to participate.

Next Week, we have our annual Mathex and Biblex night. This is an opportunity for students to participate and celebrate their talents in a different context. We would love you to join us to support and encourage our students.

Uniform Update

You can now purchase the new Middle School polar fleeces from the uniform shop. The cost for the polar fleece is $72.00. Your child can continue to wear the woollen jerseys instead.

Middle Years Wellbeing - Deans

Sometimes when we compare ourselves with others, we can feel we should be entitled to more than we have. God promises to supply all our needs. God does not give us everything we want, but He does fulfill His promises, leading us along the best and straightest paths to Himself.
